Thierry Besnard

Normand de coeur, Breton d'adoption Thierry Besnard is a passionate clarinettist. We hear it regularly during solo performances, in symphonic ensembles or in chamber music. His interest in arrangements and orchestra management allows him to explore stamps and musical colours.

He performed major works for clarinet, such as Mozart's concerto for clarinet, Weber's concertos, Debussy's rhapsody, Navarro's concertos, Shaw's Artie, Philips Sparke's concertos, Rimsky-Korsakov's concertos, and « Clariatides » by Claude Bolling. These works show his attachment to classical and romantic music, while exploring more modern compositions. They also demonstrate his unwavering commitment to promoting music in general and clarinet in particular.
